Ugodno sam iznenađen dobro obrađenom temom o opremi kontejnerskih brodova. Možda sam ja malo staromodan, ali najbolje iskustvo sam imao sa twist lockovima sa slike o palubnoj opremi, označenih brojevima 14, 16 i 17. Ručka lijevo lock otvoren, ručka desno lock zatvoren. Trebalo je periodično podmazivati svu tu opremu i problema nema.
Kada sam bio na trćemajcima od lošinjske (Ilovik), znali smo sami postaviti početne twist lockove da se ušpara vrijeme. Velike luke kao Jeddah, aqaba su već krajem osamdesetih godina imali posebne ekipe za postavljanje lockova. Isto tako je bilo i u Italiji. Prvi put kod prijevoza kontejnera sam doživio da se vrijeme stajanja u luci više ne mjeri danima nego satima. Zbogom izlasci i razgledavanje usputnih luka.

Sada mi malo mladi 
imao sam prilike na brodovima imati sve twist lockove do semi-automatic, i oni su mi se pokazali najbolji u to vrijeme, tako i ne sumljam da ovi full automatic rade najbolje, naravno sa njima se najbrze odlazi iz porta.
Ali evo i suprotne price, slika broda Med Fos dolazimo u Port Said, bas na racun polu automatskih twist lockova umjesto jedan dan ostali smo 3 dana jer radnici nisu znali raditi sa njima. Bunili su se da nisu dobri te da je stari sistem puno bolji i laksi i da oni nemogu raditi sa njima, naravno da je nastala guzva oko svega i drugi dan popodne se pojavia neka ekipa sefova sa limuzinama u odjelima od ko zna kuda...., kada smo im pokazali kako se radi i kako sve lakse i brze funkcionira nastala je ludnica, nisu imali biceve ali mi je pomalo bilo jasno kako su napravili piramide  ........
